Our History

Proudly Serving the Cariboo Region for Over 50 Years

Mainline Roofing Co. Ltd., one of the oldest members of the Roofing Contractors Association of BC (RCABC; members since 1968), was founded 50 years ago by Don Lyons. His architecturally trained partner, Richard Kosolofski, joined the business in 1979. A second generation roofing company, Mainline Roofing is now co-owned by Chris Lyons and Matt Kosolofski. They look forward to welcoming a third generation of roofers at Mainline Roofing.

Matt and Chris started their roofing careers as teenagers. They now manage 20 staff members, including 18 roofers in the field.

Certified in fall protection and mobile equipment safety, Bob Fickell, Mainline Roofing’s Safety and Training Coordinator, has 25 years of experience in the roofing industry.

Mainline Roofing covers “every corner of BC” and values workers with a positive, can-do attitude.

Congratulations

Mainline Roofing Co. Ltd. is proud to announce that Paul Wood has achieved the Master Roofer Certification through the Roofing Contractors Association of British Columbia.

One of only 9 Master Roofers in B.C., Paul has achieved this exclusive designation by first becoming a Certified Red Seal Roofer, Damp and Waterproofer, and then completing a series of additional training units, professional references, and 18,000 hours working in the industry.
Paul has also achieved his certification as an Architectural Sheet Metal Worker, and his dual tickets allow him to install all roofing systems offered by Mainline Roofing, from SBS torch on systems to metal profile roofing and standing seam applications.
Mainline Roofing is very proud to employ Master Roofer Paul Wood as a senior foreman. He is an integral part of the Mainline Team and an excellent role model for up and coming apprentices in the roofing industry.
Congratulations Paul on your incredible achievement!
